SAA complained a while back that the colours make things hard to read, and I’ve been meaning to fix them ever since. Obviously, that hasn’t happened yet, and it’s very possible I won’t really bother with it till I have time to implement some of the other things I want to do with it.
Probably more than any of those, actually, is fixing the layout a bit so that adding pictures makes more sense. This is probably because my friend RCC’s photoblog looks so awesome. And because I was checking out Abbu’s puranay-zamanay-ki photo albums when I went home last time. It’s a hardbound book with stiff black pages; the pictures are of varying sizes, all black-and-white with narrow white borders. Looks awesome.
I was looking at Tanjunka the other day, and I’m thinking it (or maybe Ecto, though I think it’s a little heavy) would make posting pictures to the blog easier. Gregg of Greggman.com fame has been kind enough to make the source available on Sourceforge. There are, of course, several other clients out there, but this looks closest to what I need so far. And it being open-source makes things doubly nice.
Anyway, what I’m curious to hear is whether the current colour scheme and/or theme actually make you cringe. Is the text difficult to read?
Many thanks.
