(Disclaimer: Chicago is not ‘home’ for me…that would certainly be Islamabad. However, I do have a very real emotional connection.)
The Chicago Tribune posted a very nice poll about the 7 wonders of Chicago. A little curious that Chicago-style pizza didn’t make it, but I do agree about picking Lower Wacker Drive over Michigan Avenue — to be honest, it’s always a little boring showing visitors the miracle mile, since it’s little more than a bunch of high-end shops! I’m also very pleased that the immensely boring Navy Pier didn’t make it (at least not on it’s own…it’s probably grouped as part of the Lakefront).
Anyway, a very nice, concise list of places to take visitors. Cheers, CT!
